Assembly

After individual parts are molded, the assembly operation joins components and inserts ancillary hardware to produce a functional unit or subassembly. This may include:

• Inserting metal parts, springs, pins, screws, or clips
• Aligning and fitting multiple plastic pieces
• Manual, semi‑automatic, or fully automated assembly lines
• In‑cycle assembly (within the molding cycle) or offline assembly
• Final checks of fit, movement, or mechanical function

Assembly ensures that the molded parts evolve from discrete pieces to integrated, usable products ready for further finishing or packaging.
